Job Summary:

Sedgebrook is seeking a skilled and compassionate IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing first-tier support for both residents and staff, providing prompt and accurate solutions while demonstrating exemplary hospitality and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provides 1^st tier support to community staff working as smart hands with the community’s MSP.
• Assists with executing IT projects as needed with direction provided by community MSP.
• Initiates and closes call tracking tickets, communicating with proper grammar and spelling.
• Assists with maintaining proper hardware setup and installing PCs and printer replacements.
• Coordinates technology aspectsof office moves and employeeonboarding.
• Provides basic computer skills training to residents and staff.
• Provides in-homecomputer service to residents and supports residentactivities that require technical expertise.
• May assist in supporting community AV equipment.
• Demonstrates superior hospitality skills while providing timely customer service.
• Identifies and assists with developing and refining troubleshooting tips and support processes.

Qualifications:

• A two-year degree, high school degree, or GED with a minimum of one to two years of experience resolving technical problems.
• A  certification and Help Desk experience preferred.
• Experience installing/configuring PC's, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7), Microsoft Office 2010, and Internet Explorer.
• Experience and expertise in core technology products such as operating systems, hardware, mobile devices, email and spam filtering, copiers and printers
