Job Title : Project Manager

Location : Newark, Delaware/Remote to start

Duration : 12 months contract with possible extension

Manager's Top Needs:

Ownership of tech delivery routines and deliverables including status reporting, milestone and dependency definition, change management and risk mitigations related to assigned large and complex technical projects impacting the digital platforms.

Communicate complex technical concepts to varying audiences that include non technical partners, technical executives and technical project teammates

Proficient gaining commitments and assigning deliverables with due dates from project stakeholders

Position Summary

Responsible for change management and tech delivery of material changes for a project of moderate to high complexity. Works closely with the Tech Delivery team to ensure required change procedures are defined, and assists teams in completing change management tasks. Advanced data query and excel reporting required to drive adherence to change management compliance. Lead change management execution that includes integration and implementation of Risk Management, Release Planning and Quality Assurance. Ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied; Acts as the primary support point of contact for change management activities within Shared Services.

Required Skills

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Desired Skills

JIRA agile tool, functional process flowcharts, Status reporting, Agile software delivery practices, MS Office. A plus if any experience in programming, architecture, application testing, scrum master, release train engineer.

• Understands the basics of a modern frontend javascript framework
• Can communicate technical concepts to non technical audiences and back
• Has a refined sense of intellectual curiosity, willing to put in the time and effort to understand the systems, application and processes supported by the team.
• Background in reporting functions, report generation, metrics definition and visualization
• Has experience with application or software development practices and routines

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $57.00 - $62.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
