Warehouse Associate

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform various warehousing activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize stock, maintain inventory, process, pack, and ship orders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Prepare products for shipping
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain a clean shipping supply area and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing goals and targets as needed.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
• Must be reliable, with a good attitude and have good work ethics
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and any other necessary warehouse equipment
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift, certification is a plus, but not required
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems a plus
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Must be extremely detailed
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs. Warehouse associates routinely pick up and move heavy objects.
• Ability to take directions and work with a team
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work Monday- Friday and available to work on Saturdays ( 1st shifts may start as early as 6 am and get off as late as 5 pm when working overtime)

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
