Position – Shift Lead
Job Location – Waukesha, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct-Hire
Employment Type – Full Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd shift
Starting Pay – $25-$34/Hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
The Shift Lead is responsible for ensuring the plant is being run efficiently and safely by ensuring schedules are being met for customers, personnel are properly trained, assisting with production when needed, keeping proper documentation & records, ensuring proper safety equipment & protocol are being utilized, & overall keeping the shop morale high. Being able to not only oversee but being proactive by assisting team members to accomplish the day’s goals will be crucial.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules & commitments
Scheduling of work & communicating as needed with customers
Oversee operations on production floor
Understand the processing of all material within production areas
Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Document all maintenance concerns
Coordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairs
Document & report all equipment issues to Plant Manager
Qualifications
Follow & enforce procedures
Complete shift audit forms
Manage inter-shift meetings and participate in hourly plant walk-through
Ensure adequate shift coverage through employee scheduling & cover hours as needed
Bring company phone home to assist in after-hour issues when needed
