Branch hours range from 7AM-7PM Monday-Friday and 8AM-2PM on Saturdays - Flexibility in location and availability is preferred
Two week training is conducted in Albany, NY.

The Member Specialist is a fast-paced, multi-functional position responsible for many facets of member service. Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Empowered to provide WOW member service on a consistent and ongoing basis.
- Maintains proficiency in all branch technical applications including: the Core system, Intranet, Internet, auxiliary applications and has in-depth knowledge of the latest tools and technology.
- Acts in a secondary role as required, with all operational branch functions including dual control, security and branch opening/closing.
- Performsfinancial transactions including but not limited to;deposits, withdrawals, transfers, lines of credit, MasterCard payments, loan payments etc.
- Performs related account functions such as balance inquiries, account histories, account maintenance, etc.
- Assisting members with requests for information on accounts and services.
- Referring non-standard or in-depth matters to the appropriate individual
- Acts as First Line of Defense in detecting and reporting fraud or irregular activities
- End of Day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing cash levels to minimize risk and exposure.
- Reviewing end of day reports for accuracy.
- Balancing individual and branch work.
- Attends all appropriate job related external and in-house training provided by SEFCU.
- Other duties as needed.
Credentials, Experience and Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and customer service and/or hospitality experience
- Your ability to be bonded is required
