What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Analyst, Private Asset Team position at SEI?
SEI is seeking a motivated investment professional to join our Private Asset Team. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established firm with a growing alternatives platform.
The Private Asset Team manages approximately $6 billion in private assets across the following strategies: buyouts, venture capital, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure. This position will support the Portfolio Managers in sourcing, underwriting, investing, and monitoring investments across the private asset portfolio.
This position requires four days in-office per week in Oaks, PA. This is not a remote position.
What you'll do:
Performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investment managers.
Assisting senior investment professionals with modelling and analysis of investment opportunities.
Meeting with clients to provide updates on SEI funds.
Gathering and analyzing information for reporting on existing investments.
Attending and documenting meetings with investment managers.
Preparing internal and client-oriented reports, newsletters, and presentations.
Other special projects and initiatives.
What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related subject area.
3 - 5 years of investment experience within the private markets industry.
MBA and/or CFA preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
