What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ops Support Analyst position at SEKO Logistics?
The Operations Support Analyst will assist in tariff design and rate card building for new domestic opportunities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in tariff build in alignment with targeted margin attainment for domestic opportunities
- Aid in RFP completion with appropriate information capture from varying business entities
- Work with operational / IT business units for SOP build in compliance with Zero Defect protocol
- Work with client’s on completing large volume quoting exercises utilizing proposed tariff rates
- Maintain / update domestic ops informational assets for front end client engagement on SEKO services based on desired solution
- Assist stations with SOP creation / dissemination to the network for onboard client
- Streamline domestic bid process and allow corporate to capture more wins and focus on high level solutioning
- Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, and present technical information clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and audience.
- Customer focused skills – ability to think and act from customer perspective
- Problem solving skill to be able to clarify and resolve complex business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components to determine root cause, and to redesign internal and external business processes where necessary.
- Experienced in the creation & utilization of varying spreadsheets, workbooks, graphs and charts
- Solid comprehension of formulas for data analysis / validation
- Comfortable with creating presentation design……
- Ability to link to spreadsheet and/or workbook for data presentation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field
- 1 years’ experience in domestic forwarding
Preferred
- 3 years’ experience in domestic forwarding
