Warehouse Agent

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Warehouse Agent you will be expected to perform various functions within a SEKO Logistics Warehouse operation under direction of a team lead such as utilizing hand held scanners and computer work stations for picking, packaging, kitting/transformation of products, dispatching of product, and other duties as assigned. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with a professional team is a must.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Receive, store and distribute material, tools equipment, and products within assigned area.
• May sweep floors, clean dock area, general good hygiene of entire work area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or move orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• May operate manual hand tools, including handheld scanners
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• The use of any heavy equipment such as forklifts is prohibited.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with C-TPAT Security Profile.

Requirements:

• Capable of basic data entry and familiarity with handheld computer devices
• Accurate typing and/or data entry skills
• Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiple, and divide)
• Ability to consistently embody SEKO’s core values and represent self as an agent for the entire organization.
• Ability follow direction and provide feedback to team leader on your progress of assigned tasks/goals during your workday.
• Ability to function within a team environment with changing priorities and work flows.
• Comply with SEKO work policies and procedures.

• Capable of basic data entry skills and familiarity with handheld devices
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
