SeKON has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in Charleston, South Carolina. NIWC provides a diverse range of Program Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) support services to multiple federal organizations including the Defense Health Agency (DHA). DHA is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the United States (U.S.) Army, U.S Navy, and U.S Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force and ready medical force to Combatant Commands. The objective of this program is to support NIWC in the project execution of the Cyber Security Division mission at locations throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). This includes support to all Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System sites, which vary in size from 1,500 to over 60,000 server and workstation assets, and support as many as 430 Programs of Record Systems of varying size, architecture, and operating systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, plan, and lead technical and engineering teams in multiple, complex task assignments involving diverse engineering disciplines.
- Manage team performance and support emergent situations.
- Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between technical teams.
- Demonstrates abilities as a leader, creating a positive work environment by monitoring the workloads of the team while meeting client expectations.
- Reviews and provides input to high-level project planning and management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- 10 years of engineering experience related to communication/computer/radar or similar systems.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (or equivalent) may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
- Ability to organize and drive technical teams to deliver on goals.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills commensurate with a management role.
