What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Admin - REMOTE position at Sekon?
SeKON has an opportunity for a System Admin/DevOps to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The objective of the SAMHSA Web Content Management and Support contract is to provide enterprise-wide web content support related to the enhancement and maintenance of the consolidated SAMHSA.gov website, using the Drupal Content Management System, as well as for SAMHSA-related microsites, subsites, and subdomains that have not been fully migrated to SAMHSA.gov.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining and updating the development environments/virtual machines
- Manage code in our BitBucket/GitLab repositories
- Code reviews
- Manage pull requests/code flow
- Create deployment packages and ensure deployment of code/configuration to production.
- Create/Install Drupal sites in the cloud
- Maintain/Create Jenkins automations as needed
- Review security updates for Drupal as well as the OS in the development environments
- Do Root Cause Analysis as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Linux (Ubuntu in particular)
- Networking fundamentals, familiarity with Apache and Nginx, web development security
- Working knowledge with search tools such as Solr
- Deployment procedures; CI/CD automation a plus
- PHP Development
- AWS and Azure
- Drupal 9 configuration management
- Firewall, load balancer experience
- Familiarity with MySQL
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Slack, BitBucket, GitLab
