Job Summary
Reporting to the Law Enforcement Liaison and Trainer, the Task Force Advocate is responsible for providing support and services to victims of sex trafficking and exploitation and participating in Tampa Bay Human Trafficking Task Force activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Facilitate survivor-centered sex trafficking support groups.
- Provide support and case management services to survivors of sex trafficking to include, but not limited to: legal, housing, medical, mental health, referral and transportation services.
- Attend meetings and trainings requested by the National Law Enforcement Liaison and Trainer.
- Responsible for assisting in the management of survivor documentation and reporting.
- Provide support for law enforcement when a survivor is identified.
- Participate in Tampa Bay Human Trafficking Task Force meetings and activities**
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience*
- Bachelors Degree in Social work, Criminology, or other behavioral sciences. Participate in continuing education standards that include a minimum of eight hours of training per year in trauma, substance abuse and sex trafficking.
- Experience in licensed substance abuse treatment program, trauma informed care program, post-traumatic stress program OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience working with victims of sex trafficking is preferred.
- Experience in working effectively in cross-culture settings.
- Clean driving record preferred.

Work Schedule*
Typical work schedule is 8-5, Monday thru Friday. Some work time may involve nights, weekend or event after hours. Employee will receive proper notice beforehand.

Pay: $35,568.00 - $40,500.00 per year
