A leading middle-market private credit firm is seeking a Trade Operations Specialist to join their Finance & Operations team in Miami.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade Capture and Execution: Ensure all trades are accurately captured in the system and executed in a timely manner.
- Trade Settlement: Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely settlement of trades.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all trade activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing regulatory and management reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices within the trade operations function.
- Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, traders, risk management, and IT teams to support trading activities and resolve any operational issues.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in trade operations, preferably within a private credit or asset management firm.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and trade lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency in trade order management systems and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
