Select Medical is looking for a proactive, results-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to manage the IT asset life cycle of company owned equipment. The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring that technology assets are received, recovered, deployed, tracked, and retired in a controlled manner. The IT Asset Management Specialist has a high level of customer interaction and works closely with both vendors, end users, and IS staff in processing service requests. The IT Asset Management Specialist reports to the Manager, IT Asset Management & Purchasing.
Responsibilities:

Provides superior customer support to internal and external customers in all encounters.

Receive IT equipment delivered to Information Services Department, including logging received equipment, storing it securely, conducting periodic inventories and logging equipment distribution.

Track asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure the on-time delivery of equipment to meet project and end user expectations.
- Effectively communicate with end users, vendors, IS Project Managers and IS Management.

Maintains an on-hand inventory of IT equipment.
- Obtains quotes for hardware and submits order requests for equipment and computer accessories to maintain stockroom inventory levels.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset reports.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

Associates degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or equivalent educational / work experience.

In lieu of undergraduate degree or technical school, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of work experience equals one year of College.

1 – 3 years of experience in Information Technology, IT Support, IT Help Desk, IT Endpoint Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience processing service or equipment requests in a corporate environment.

2 - 4 years of experience in an IT Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or position.

Excellent attention to detail and follow through.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a technical environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must; ability to read, write, and speak in a professional manner.

Superior customer service and teamwork skills.
-
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

Must possess a personal sense of urgency.

Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.

Skilled in Microsoft productivity applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.

ServiceNow experience a plus.

Prior healthcare environment experience plus.
