What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Select?
Select is seeking a talented and experienced brand asset Buyer to own the oversight and day-to-day outcomes for key clients on our brandhub™ technology platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all order details to ensure on-time delivery to clients for consumer brand activations around the world.
Manage order flow and track production status for all open projects while maintaining regular supplier communication
Timely communication with client when suppliers deviate from order expectations
Maintain oversight of activity and day-to-day communication with third party logistics (3PL) partners
Ensure accurate shipping and receiving details and instructions for all parties
Qualifications:
3-5 Years experience working with third party suppliers and 3PL partners
General understanding of an order lifecycle and product logistics
Competence as a user of ERP and order management software
Thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, highly collaborative working environment
Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage competing demands
Comfortable communication via phone with ability to effectively negotiate through options to achieve a desired outcome
Team player who demonstrates outcome-based mindset and ownership of their responsibilities
Familiarity with consumer brand products and marketing a plus
Bachelor degree preferred
