We have an immediate need for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer in the Dothan, AL area. We will also consider candidates for our Brewton, AL location as well.
This is a contract-to-direct opportunity and expected to be permanent within 6 months.
Starting pay is based on relevant experience and estimated to be $40-$50/HR some available OT. (Paid at time x 1.5)
You are expected to be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week and be able to work fairly independently.

Job description:
- Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Design for Industrial Projects.
- Construction support
- Checkout/startup support
- Troubleshooting
- Cable schedules
- Instrument datasheets and Indexes
- Contribute on projects from the preliminary stage through startup
- Work closely with clients
- Lead, mentor and work with junior engineers, designers and draftsmen
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Minimum 5 Years experience of doing Electrical Process & Instrumentation Diagrams for industrial projects
- Experience with Loop sheets, wiring diagrams, flow meters, controls symbols.
- Pulp & Paper Industry experience is a PLUS but not required.
