We are a wholesale countertop company eager to add to our Office Staff. We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
We are aware that most candidates will not have all of the experience listed in the responsibilities and will provide on job training.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Quickbooks experience preferred
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience helpful
Providing quotes to customers
Ordering material from a multitude of vendors
Organize and schedule measure and installs
Create design plans using AutoCAD
Provide general support to visitors in the showroom
Translating cabinet measurements, estimating square footage cost, etc.
Assist & support Human Resources Department in administrating all staff, facilitating responsibilities within several departments, implementing new processes, and maintaining improvements
Other tasks assigned by office manager on a daily basis
Requirements/Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Attention to detail and problem solving skills a must
Must be able to conduct self professionally and maintain professional appearance.
Open to learning new skills and being cross-trained in different areas of the company
A working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines is helpful
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Measures of Performance:
Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
