Primary Purpose:
Supervises construction crews and personnel engaged in the construction and maintenance of electric systems and related facilities. Oversees construction crews to ensure that construction standards and safety regulations are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises construction crews and personnel engaged in the construction and maintenance of electric systems and related facilities.
- Oversees construction crews to ensure that construction standards and safety regulations are met.
- Ensures the efficient use of construction material and the proper accounting of unused materials or material removed from service.
- Examines work orders for completeness and material requirements.
- Pre-fields jobs for compatibility with existing system or potential conflicts in construction.
- Ensures that assigned vehicles, equipment and tools are in good working order and properly maintained.
- Determines staffing, equipment and traffic control requirements, develops work schedules and crew assignments, and performs other related duties as required or assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
