What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Director position at Senate Majority PAC?
We are looking for a talented Creative Director for a new and exciting opportunity: hold and expand our Democratic Senate majority in this critical midterm election. This position will be centered around informing, persuading, and mobilizing voters through a creative digital approach.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the digital director to build and maintain in-house scalable digital and creative infrastructure, including creative production and testing processes
- Conceptualize and write digital ads for paid digital persuasion and mobilization programs in multiple states, including scripting, graphic design, and video production
- Communicate strategic and creative directives to outside vendors
- Explore and help identify partners for campaign efforts
- Draft, schedule, and develop organic and paid content across a wide array of digital platforms including social media and web
- Make strategic and creative recommendations to the digital director based on learnings from polling, focus groups, and ad tests, digital best practices, and past experience.
Qualifications:
- A multi-tasker and effective organizer with a critical eye for details who is passionate about the role digital plays in the political landscape
- Has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially writing and content creation
- Has an ability and willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Has experience in developing strategic digital, creative, and communications outreach plans and campaigns
- Has an understanding of digital creative production
- Has experience producing graphics, video, and other creative assets on short timeline
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and 2-4 years of experience with digital advertising, content strategy, and/or social media
