We provide caregiving services to the entire Northern Virginia area and are very honored to serve the seniors in our community. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answering in-coming calls after the first ring with a professional and caring attitude.
  • Arrange or organize schedules for clients by matching them with a caregiver based on the caregiver's availability, skill set, and previous job performance.
  • Create and maintain schedules for the caregiving team.
  • Ability to multitask between scheduling caregivers for potential clients and current client needs.
  • Ensure scheduling systems are properly maintained and the schedule, billing rate, and payroll rate entered is accurate.
  • Show respect for clients by maintaining confidentiality. Show respect for caregivers by providing appreciation often and criticism with empathy.
  • Reach out to caregivers and clients with regards to changes or cancelations in the schedule.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and caregivers to ensure an excellent customer service experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring correct client and caregiver information is entered into our scheduling platform and updating it as needed.
  • Work directly with the Recruitment Coordinator for any potential caregiving needs to ensure all schedules and shifts are filled in a timely manner.
  • Keep the Home Care Manager updated with any scheduling issues that may arise.
  • Maintain scheduling reports required for the Monthly Team Meetings.
  • Assist in orienting all new caregivers to the SenCura Home Care team!
  • Participate in activities or programs that help enhance the quality of the service we are providing and/or strengthens the moral of the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills on all fronts
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules effectively is very important
  • Must have a sense of urgency to ensure all client schedules are covered by a caregiver that matches their needs.
  • Must be able to multi-task and also display an incredible level of flexibility
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, be easy to approach, and provide stellar customer service to all clients, their family members, and all co-workers.
  • Must be able to support the caregiving team with different issues that may arise while they are working with their client.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize in the face of multiple tasks and/or duties
  • Must be someone that has a keen eye for details to be able to avoid and/or rectify any scheduling issues
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team or even lead a team if the need arises
  • Must have basic knowledge of computer programs.
  • Experience in a customer service role or healthcare scheduling position would be an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Supplemental Pay:

COVID-19 considerations:
SenCura Home Care works with the population most at risk for COVID-19, seniors. All employees are required to wear a mask and all necessary PPE is provided.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Senior care: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)
