Licensed Psychologist

Provide outpatient psychological services and behavioral health counseling through evidence-based practice to improve clients life functioning. 

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Psychology and licensed as a psychologist in WV required.  

Valid driver’s license, automobile and insurance required.  

Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Employment Fitness Determination through WVCARES and a drug screen.  

Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills required.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1. Perform psychological assessments and clinical evaluations using a variety of assessment instruments for all age and disability groups, including mental health, developmental disability, and substance use disorder populations. 
2. Provide intensive individual, group and family psychotherapy for all disability groups, as assigned. 
3. Perform clinical evaluations and testimony related to mental hygiene hearings. 
4. Document all services in accordance with established standards; secure information by adhering to HIPAA regulations and Seneca privacy policies. 
5. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; obtaining required continuing education as required by professional license; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and reviewing relevant state rules and regulations regarding the provision of services. 
6. Promote the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients; by appropriately publicizing activities and accomplishments; adhering to a professional code of ethics. 
7. Represent Seneca in a positive manner including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in a manner in accordance with Seneca’s Mission and Code of Conduct and Ethical Practices. 
8. Provide consultation within and outside the agency.  
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
