Under the direction of the Prevention Supervisor, the incumbent provides community outreach, education, training, and brief intervention services focused on prevention substance misuse and suicide.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Must have excellent computer skills including word, excel for presenting, reporting, and coordination purposes. Attain CPP credentials within three years of employment. Desired qualifications include Master’s Degree in Human Services field and 3 years supervised experience. CPS/CPP credentialed applicants preferred. Prior experience with public speaking, conducting groups, training, developing community events, developing programs and/or working with at-risk youth.
