Basic Function:

Incumbent is to oversee the environment regulation processes in both public and private sectors. Will be involved of development, implementation, and management of environmental protection strategies, regulatory policies, and other programs for promoting healthy environmental practices within the Seneca Nation (SN).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related fields of chemistry, biology, geology, or geophysics. Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills. Provide leadership internally and externally. Able to work in a collaborative manner with diverse constituencies. Strong financial skills and overall business acumen. Strong computer and data analytical skills. Maintaining confidentiality of work related information and materials. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Experience managing teams of environment professionals to respond to complex assignments. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License – Class C is required or must be willing to obtain within six months of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34.08 per hour
