What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver/Caregiver position at Senior Helpers East Dallas?
Senior Helpers East Dallas is looking for great caregivers to join our team to assist seniors in the comfort of their own home in the areas around the Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall, Mesquite, and Fate areas. This position is if you would like to work primarily as a companion caregiver and driver. You do NOT need to be a state registered Home Care Aide or Certified Nurse Assistant to apply, but experience with seniors and driving is a requirement.
Pay rates:
- $12-$13/hour
- Mileage reimbursement for transportation during shifts
- Biweekly pay (Every other Friday)
- Direct deposit or check
- 1.5x overtime pay if you work over 40 hours/week
- 9 Holidays at 1.5x pay
The schedule is:
- Day shifts Mon-Fri for taking seniors to their errands/appointments
As a caregiver you will provide the following services:
- Transportation (Age 21 and Driver License REQUIRED)
- Dementia/Alzheimer's care
- Transfers
- Baths/Showers
- Incontinence/Toileting
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Prep
- Medication
- Transfers/Safety Monitoring

- High school or equivalent (Required)
