Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers with experience in using a Hoyer lift to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift to transfer clients in and out of beds, chairs, and other equipment.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to family members and healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Follow care plans and document client care and progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- CPR and first aid certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient personality
Compensation and Benefits:
- Standard hourly rates of $18 to $20, paid biweekly. Additional rates available on a case-by-case basis, up to $30/hr!
