Senior Helpers has an immediate part-time need for a veteran, male client in Powhatan. The hours are 3 : 00pm- 7 : 00pm Mon, Wed, Fri.
Client is bedbound and needs incontinence care, and full ADL support.
This client requires a very patient and empathetic caregiver. There is the potential that VA benefits may open up caregiver opportunities during the week also.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and social activities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
Qualifications
- Patience, Caring and Compassionate-you enjoy helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!
