What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Senior Helpers?

Senior Helpers, we are looking for compassionate, experienced, dependable and reliable caregivers, CNA's and HHA's.
We service areas in the Inland Empire. We are always accepting applications.
We provide in-home care for the elderly. We are not a facility, you would travel to client's homes to provide care. Typically you are not sent more than 15 miles away from your home.
As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to seniors in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your core skills in caregiving will be complemented by premium skills such as patient observation, assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), and cooking. You will also utilize your experience in long-term care and social work to enhance the quality of life for your clients. Reporting to a senior care manager, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and dignity for those you serve, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
*All assignments are part-time, there is potential for more hours depending on your availability, experience and what assignments are available at the time.
*All of the assignments require assistance with personal care, transferring, preparing meals, light housekeeping, and transportation.
Available assignments:
· Fontana- Female client. Monday-Friday 10AM-3PM. Client requires transportation. **Must have a vehicle, valid CDL, auto insurance and good driving record.
·Fontana-Male client. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1PM-4PM
·Rancho Cucamonga- Male client. **MALE CAREGIVER PREFERRED. Wednesday-Sunday 6AM-2PM (the days are not flexible, must be able to work all of the days) this assignment would start in January 2025. Client requires transportation. **Must have a vehicle, valid CDL, auto insurance and good driving record.
·Highland- Female client who is total care. Bed bound and hoyer lift. (will provide training) Please call the office for this schedule, it varies every 3 weeks, must be available to work weekends and must be flexible with hours, must be able to work evenings and early mornings)

REQUIREMENTS
Must have 1 year of experience or more working with the elderly either in a facility or providing in home care.
Must have a valid California Driver's license, a vehicle, 3 year DMV driving record, and auto insurance.
Must be registered with the State of California as a Home Care Aide. If not registered, we can help you with the registration process.
TB test within 90 days of being registered as a Home Care Aide or within 7 days of date of hire
