Job Posting for Handyman Services at Senior Proof Inc .

Senior Proof offers a turnkey solution for our independent seniors, from bed rails, shower grab bars, to walk in shower conversions and more. We help ensure the safety and security of our senior community, all from the comforts of home. We are looking for reputable and reliable handyman to install grab bars, bed rails, toilet rails, and other basic fixture installation in homes. We’ll rely on you to do handyman work and other various odd jobs. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. Position available for a person skilled at a wide range of repairs.

Contract position! 6-7 months starting March 2023!! 300 homes in Broward County. Background checks mandatory. MUST have your own tools and reliable vehicle!!!!

Responsibilities

  • Must have experience with installing shower grab bars
  • Undertake fixture installation
  • Paint and fill gaps or crevices on walls
  • Assist tradespeople with electrical repairs
  • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Perform preventative maintenance repairs effectively and efficiently
  • Detect and report the need for repairs when necessary

Skills

  • Proven experience as handyman
  • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
  • Good English speaking communication ability, bilingual preferred
  • Experienced with bathroom and kitchen fixtures
  • Attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent'
