Position Summary::
Reporting to the Vice President, Content & Creative, the Social Media Manager will build our social media channels into empowering communities that support and engage family caregivers and their advocates around the nation. In this role, you will develop a social channel strategy for Seniorlink that goes beyond surface engagement to establish community, connection and trust. Building upon our 7,000 member Caregiver Nation Facebook group, you will develop a community that connects and emboldens the millions of caregivers across the U.S., and helps Seniorlink in discovering customer insights about their needs, wants and journeys. You also will formulate a broader social media strategy to strengthen the reputation of caregivers, showcasing their value not just to their families but to our health system and healthcare budgets overall. You will consider a range of opportunities to expand the presence of Seniorlink, which might include employee advocacy, thought leadership, and more. The strategies and content calendars you develop will show a clear understanding of our audience needs, company’s value and how audiences engage differently across channels. Working with teams across the organization, you will find stories and create social engagement around caregivers and the vital work that they do.
What You Will Do::
  • Develop social media strategy that builds an enriching, connective community for caregivers across the nation
  • Build a strategy to better showcase Seniorlink’s thought leadership and culture
  • Leverage social channels, including our Caregiver Nation Facebook community, to gain customer insights on how to better support people in their caregiving journey
  • Continually build your understanding of how other organizations are communicating with and supporting family caregivers on social channels, and identify the differentiators of our platform and social communities within that ecosphere
  • Connect with national and state-specific teams to collect and develop content that speaks to our various personas with empathy and passion
  • Develop campaigns that increase engagement on key social channels
  • Interact with comments and continually update our playbook on how to build confidence and spur engagement across channels
  • Partner with the creative team and agency partners in development, monitoring and evaluation of social ads
  • Develop easy-to-understand monthly reports that outline growth, gaps and key learnings
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
What You Will Bring::
  • Proven work experience as a social media manager who builds engagement and generates results, preferably 7 years of hands-on experience related to social media
  • Strong understanding of both social media and marketing strategy, including how to identify and communicate to key audiences to improve engagement
  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; ability to guide, develop, and motivate team members
  • HubSpot or other social media management platform experience is a plus
