Are you a technology expert? Do you like problem solving and making things work?

Our growing team is in search of a proactive and motivated installation technician to spearhead installations and service of technology systems in existing and new construction homes.

We do all things residential technology-related — audio, video, lighting control, networking, security, window treatments, and more, all connected together with a home automation system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in the construction industry and on construction sites. You will be working on construction sites where it may be dirty and unconditioned at times.

  • 5 years of experience with technology in general — computers, networking, audio/video, etc.
  • Advanced wiring and connectivity skills according to low voltage standards.
  • Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues: ability to identify symptoms and systematically eliminate potential causes until solving the issue.
  • Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable, and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and quotes, and install systems according to specifications.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on client and builder satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written — with an emphasis on transparency, authenticity, and respectfulness.
  • Solution-focused, organized, dedicated to details and follow-through.
  • Reliable, responsible, and driven to succeed.

Core Responsibilities

  • Properly install and configure equipment according to company standards such as TVs, speakers, cameras, and lighting control devices.
  • Run, terminate, and label wiring and cables efficiently between audio, video, data, and control equipment.
  • Build equipment racks according to schematics.
  • Perform service on existing systems.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Manage van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance.

Benefits / Compensation and Benefits
