This is a US REMOTE position.

COMPENSATION

$62,500 - $84,000 / year, Exempt, with a discretionary bonus of up to 10%.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sensei Ag is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Sensei Ag. You'll be in charge of handling daily tasks related to our business transactions in the accounts payable department. This role is all about teamwork - you'll work closely with our internal teams and external vendors to make sure our vendors are completely satisfied. You'll also help out the department during busy periods, including month-end close and our annual audit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable tasks to ensure smooth processing of invoices and great vendor relationships.
• Handle coding and posting of non-PO invoices.
• Team up with the procurement team to resolve PO issues.
• Match vendor statements with our records and fix any errors.
• Process monthly credit card purchases by matching receipts with transactions.
• Work with the procurement team to solve any issues with invoices or receipts.
• Follow all financial rules and company policies to keep everything compliant.
• Put together monthly accrual journal entries.
• Help with account reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Help with filing 1099s each year.
• Take on other tasks as needed.
  
  

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO APPLY?

• Minimum of 3 years of advanced A/P experience using NetSuite.
• A Bachelor's degree, but if you don't have one, 7 years of A/P experience will be its equivalent.
• You should be great with numbers and have a deep understanding of accounting principles.
• You'll be working on your own most of the time, so you need to be self-motivated.
• You need to be an Excel whiz, with skills in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
• We're also looking for someone who is good at solving problems and can think on their feet.
• And, you need to be flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.

• Familiar with fast-paced startup companies.
