Sentara Healthcare is currently seeking a Full Time Courier based out of our Careplex facility in Hampton VA. The schedule will be full time, rotating shifts. Will be required to learn 15 weekend routes.
Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Proficient at performing 25% of all daily routes with the flexibility to work all three shifts in any geographic area when required. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items
Trained on 25% of routes or worked in a float role for 6 months, whichever comes first.
Qualifications:
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Driver's License - Certification - Other/National, Driver License - Certification - North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV), Driver License - Certification - Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (VDMV)
