Sentara Medical Group is now seeking a Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist.

Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift

**This position is eligible for remote or hybrid teleworking arrangement in VA OR NC ONLY!.**

The Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for managing patient drug therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Maintains current knowledge of drug use through continuing education. Serves as the primary resource for drug information. Assures the appropriateness of all physician medication orders. Precepts pharmacy students as assigned.

Sentara Medical Group’s Pharmacy Department considers teleworking to be a viable alternative work arrangement in cases where individual, job, and supervisor characteristics are best suited to such an arrangement. Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist License (VA or NC)
  • Bachelor's of Pharmacy
  • 1 year Pharmacist experience required
