Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Director of Finance, Information Systems (IT)

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is open to candidates in the Virginia/North Carolina geographic area

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary

Provides leadership through financial analysis, management and decision support to assigned areas. Leads and coordinates financial management with the Vice President, division Finance, President/Administrator and finance support staff at Corporate. As an essential member of the divisions Senior Leadership Team, provides management input to improve/maintain performance of Sentara.

Master's degree, MHA/MBA preferred, and/or other professional finance certifications may be considered in lieu of CPA. Supervisor exp preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Level Degree (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or related study)
  • Master's degree, MHA/MBA preferred, and/or other professional finance certifications may be considered in lieu of CPA.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • CPA required
  • 8 years Accounting, Finance experience
  • 4 years Healthcare
