Responsible for the development and design of the provider network through contract negotiations and relationship development. Assists in the preparation of financial projections and strategic planning. Responsible for managing the financial and operational performance of the provider network and compliance with contractual terms. Virginia Premier employees who joined Sentara as part of the joint ownership agreement between Sentara and VCU Health System are grandfathered into this role and may not meet minimum qualifications as defined by this job profile. Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Health Systems or Managed Care experience OR any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

    Must have previous experience in Contracting as well as Behavioral Health
