What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead, Patient Care Center position at Sentara?
The Clerical Team Lead supports business/clerical work within the practice. Subject matter expert for all front-end operations. Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager to ensure practice is run efficiently and effectively with business operations. Can assume responsibility, leadership and accountability for daily front-end clerical operations to include attending meetings and training for all front-end related work, revise physician schedules, prepare departmental statistics, and other clerical related duties as determined by the practice manager. Educates and supports employees with clerical and front-end process and workflows. Acts as SME for new process rollouts. Performs special work assignments as needed. Support Practice Manager, Director and other leadership team members as needed. Collaborate with cross-departmental/divisional teams to achieve goals. Takes initiative and implements new processes independently. Acts as a role model for the clerical team and subject matter expert in clerical areas.
Two years of college education or equivalent preferred. One year of Supervisory experience preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
3 Years Customer Service Experience Required
3 Years Medical Office Experience Required
