Material Coordinator/ Shipping & Receiving
Warren, MI
Company builds automated welding and assembly lines.
Pay Rate: up to $22/hr
Summary: The Material Coordinator is responsible for arranging the material flow to support the manufacturing process by maintaining stock requirements and quantity available with the ERP system.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive/organize material within the ERP System
2. Coordinate and expedite flow of material between departments
3. Verify purchased material matches bill of material/Print Build Book and BOM.
4. Move or transport materials from one department to another
5. Monitor Tool Assembly work orders for material availability
6. Manage all job to job transfers/warehouse location
7. Close out work orders upon completion
8. Monitor material handler day to day activities
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures
10. Ensure compliance with safety procedures
11. Mechanically inclined
Requirements:
1. 1 year of experience in a related field
2. Experience in Microsoft office (Excel,Word,PowerPoint)
3. Proficient in Inventory Control, etc.
4. Experience with an ERP System, Microsoft AX preferred
5. Ability to multi-task, while maintaining organization
6. Strong computer skills
7. Strong verbal and oral communication skills
8. High School Diploma or GED is preferred
Work Environment:
This position operates in both an office and a shop environment.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Frequently required to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
Day Shift: 6am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, 6am to noon most Saturday’s.
Long term contract position w/ possibility of going permanent
