What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Network Engineer position at Sentinel?
Responsibilities
As a member of our award winning deployment team, you will be positioned to deliver the latest and greatest network technologies to our client base. You will see why we are “Always Leading” by staying on the cusp of emerging technologies and opportunities. Your current networking skills and customer service ideals will make you the subject matter expert you’ve wanted to be servicing high profile customers in our Western region. This is a full time position which requires a candidate local to Tempe, Arizona or Denver Colorado.
Qualifications
- Cisco Certification required CCNA or CCNP (preferred)
- Proficiency in networking protocols such as; BGRP, OSPF, BGP or Multicast
- A solid understanding of Layer 2 Spanning Tree Protocols (STP)
- Experience with Wireless Networking and Firewall management would be nice.
- Knowledge and experience with SD Access (Cisco DNA) or SDWAN is a definite plus
- Experience with the following vendors is preferred: Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba and Juniper
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
