The Opportunity:
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.
Your role at Sephora:
As the Video Team Intern, you will be working and assisting on video projects for Sephora’s internal Video Team throughout the production pipeline, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages including but not limited to: editing, producing, and/or recording projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders throughout the production pipeline, and project and/or asset management. Note: Please indicate which area in the production pipeline most interests you. We will do our best to give you as much exposure to this area as possible while also teaching you video production as a whole.
Responsibilities:
- Working and/or assisting on video projects from start to finish.
- Kicking off and managing projects with stakeholders.
- Possible producing, directing, recording and/or editing opportunities.
- Assisting studio set up and lighting for in-studio and/or on-location filming.
- Project and/or asset managing.

We are excited about you if you have:
- Communications, Public Comms, Video/Film (Film, TV, Comms) Creative Concepting Digital Arts Schools preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of any editing software — Adobe Suite/Adobe Creative Cloud
- Basic knowledge of video editing platforms — Premiere or Avid
- Portfolio of work
Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
- Hybrid program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
- Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA
Program Details:
An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.
2024 Program Dates:
- June 3 – August 16
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, PST
- June 17 – 20: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
- July 1 – 5: Week off for vacation
*Hybrid positions = require part of work week days in in the SF headquarters office
The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour.
