Position Description:
This position leads or coordinates construction projects in collaboration with project team, construction site and management. Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. Organizes and directs construction personnel, and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time. Handles all project administration aspects. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Manages the design process. This includes generating budget estimates, value engineering recommendations, constructability review, scheduling document completion and the bidding process and preliminary construction schedules as the plans develop.
2. Provide complete contract administration including invoicing procedures, submittals, daily reports, etc.
3. Estimate, track, and manage General Conditions expenses required for project completion. Administer GMP tracking and project cost control.
4. Manage all on site activities including scheduling, quality control, safety monitoring, and contractor/subcontractor communications.
5. Provide monthly status report, schedule update, and comprehensive project information summary.
6. Carry the Septagon image and philosophy to the jobsite: i.e., professional conduct, fair solutions, and customer service.
7. Manage and coordinate the final punchlist.
8. Manage and maintain overall project schedule.
9. Manage project budget and schedule to facilitate overall customer satisfaction.
10. Ensures that if employee is involved in a company accident or incident, they adhere to proper safety and incident reporting procedures as described in company policy and procedure.
11. All employees must be knowledgeable and responsible for all required documentation in their respective positions and adherence to company policy and procedures.
12. Work occasional evenings or weekends for special projects.
13. Punctual, dependable and prepared for work each day.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years work experience
Experienced in construction project management.
Display a positive, professional attitude.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Proficient in oral and written communication.
Solid fiscal management skills.
Demonstrate good time management skills.
Possess good leadership skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, consumers, and other service providers. Must be a cooperative team player.
Effective problem solving skills.
Ability to work well with limited supervision.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities over on site activities.
Physical/Environmental Demands:
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, simultaneous and repetitive use of the hands, wrists, and fingers is sometimes required. Movements such as stooping, twisting, bending, reaching, crouching, and handling are required. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance and reach with hands and arms. Frequent lifting and moving of 10 – 100 pounds is required. Audio, visual, and verbal functions are vital aspects to performing this position
Environmental Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
