General Description:

The Senior Systems Engineer will manage computer systems and networks, design system architecture, and ensure smooth operations of hardware and software. They'll work within the infrastructure team, handling server infrastructure tasks, and collaborating on various projects.

Hybrid position with office presence as needed. MUST BE WITHIN 1 day driving distance to Bethlehem, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and maintain hardware, systems software, and cloud-based solutions.
• Optimize systems within cloud environments for efficiency and reliability.
• Utilize monitoring tools to assess system performance and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans.
• Manage infrastructure systems for business continuity.
• Install, configure, and test operating systems and applications.
• Review data analytics for optimization.
• Implement automation processes for efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise and mentoring to team members.
• Maintain stringent security protocols for system protection.
• Participate in on-call support for a 24x7 production environment.

Specific Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of enterprise systems administration experience.
• Minimum 3 years of cloud infrastructure support experience.
• Over 5 years of virtualization experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Citrix solutions experience.
• Expertise in infrastructure-based processes and disaster recovery.
• Significant experience in legacy system engineering assessments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex environments.
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure security and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft server services and Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of network and telecom technologies.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies is desirable.

Professional Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) with a specialized discipline are preferred.
• Certifications in Cloud Services are highly desirable, including roles such as Solutions.
• Architect or Developer, with a preference for AWS or Azure certifications. Google Certifications is plus but not required.
