Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Lead Security Officer performs security officer operational duties and is also expected to perform administrative duties associated with the shift. Coordinates the work of the Security Officers in the absence of the supervisor and oversees work activity during the shift.
The Lead Security Officer also serves as the primary site contact for law enforcement agencies when senior Security leadership is not on site. It is expected that the Lead Security Officer will demonstrate behavior consistent with Dignity Health core value and humankindness.
The Lead Security Officer shall support Dignity Health's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Six (6) months experience as security officer in a hospital or healthcare setting prior law enforcement or military service; or one (1) year experience as a security officer.
- High school diploma or equivalent; or three (3) years experience as a security officer
- SECURITY:CA; BLS-CPR - within 90 days of hire
Salary : $25 - $35
