What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN or LPN, Night Shift 10p-6a position at SEQUOYAH EAST NURSING CENTER?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist physicians with various medical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens for testing
- Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patient needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics, including family planning and behavioral health
- Assist in the coordination of patient referrals and follow-up care
Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience working in various healthcare settings, including dermal fillers, memory care, and pediatric care
- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
- Ability to ventilate patients as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
