REPORTS TO: Youth Services Data Lead
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for data management and validation of youth services programs. This includes quality assurance tracking, collating and verifying data from multiple sources while maintaining regulatory standards.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for data management and validation of youth services programs. This includes quality assurance tracking, collating and verifying data from multiple sources while maintaining regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies participant’s eligibility to ensure compliance with funding sources.
- Enters initial enrollment information into external Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Assess participant profile to assign Case Manager at enrollment.
- Audits activities and follow-up data in external MIS
- Assists in the monitoring of the internal MIS data system to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in programmatic internal and external audits.
- Maintains knowledge of the programs statement of works and key performance indicators.
- Compiles program statistics, performance data and prepares related reports for submission.
- Enter relevant participant placement data verified during the Case Management follow-up process and generates reports as required. Communicates with program team, partner agencies to ensure consistent and accurate reporting of participant progress.
- Reconciles and validates reports with related data files/sources; reports errors and corrections to Data Manager.
- Maintains organized and secure filing system.
- Creates an internal audit plan for activities and reports monthly documentation needs for case management.
- Provides on-going technical assistance to staff as needed.
- Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in relevant area of study with comparable experience (5 - 7 years minimum)
- Experience in workforce development programs including WIOA regulation preferred.
- Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish or English/Arabic are preferred.
- Ability to work well with other teams.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and data systems necessary to effectively maintain a database and generate reports.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with staff and partner agencies in non- technical terms.
- Analytical ability to identify and resolve reporting errors.
- Mental ability to handle pressures related to meeting deadlines and performing repetitive tasks requiring concentration and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to frequently sit at a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time when entering data.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license. Incumbent must also have reliable means of transportation to travel to various locations outside of the office.
