Seraph Legal, P.A., a small but quickly-growing consumer law firm in Ybor City, is seeking a full-time Case Manager/Administrator. The is certainly a "job of many hats."
Primarily, the job entails reviewing an active caseload of several hundred cases, and ensuring all relevant deadlines are met, litigation/discovery is proceeding as required, expert witnesses are sourced and scheduled, new cases are assigned to the most relevant attorney available, settlement funds are paid to us on a timely basis, etc. Essentially, there are thousands of moving parts and the Buck Stops With You. If you're the type of person who alphabetizes their spice rack, you may e a good fit.
Assistance with accounting (done via QuickBooks) will also be required from time-to-time. You may also be asked to help with drafting of legal documents and assisting attorneys as required.
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and handle dozens of projects at once is also essential. Excellent written communication skills are essential. Experience with QuickBooks would be very helpful. Experience in any area of law if also helpful. At least five years in an administrative/management role is required.
This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. The position is in-office and is not remote. We offer a competitive salary, company-paid medical insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and other benefits (including an adorable office cat).
