Position Description
Enjoy traveling? Serco has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician (FST) supporting the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). The FST joins a dynamic team of six (6) members providing service to the Army's new Type II Heavy Crane (T2HC) program. Choose to make a positive impact while servicing locations across the continental United States and abroad. Position involves working in both a team and independent environment.
Job duties include:
- Initial fielding of the Type 2 Heavy Crane
- Initial operator training
- Product turn over
- General maintenance of the end item
- Liaison and coordination between manufacturer and government for all training, fielding, and warranty maintenance
- Perform scheduled services, conduct warranty calls, and unscheduled maintenance both CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Generate and submit reports
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Able to obtain a U.S. Passport
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Military experience
- Heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
- Heavy Crane experience preferred
