This Serco Inventory Control Manager position supports the Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command and is responsible for the overall management of all Government Furnished Property/Material, and ensure Contractor compliance with contract requirements.  This individual will enhance product work-flow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.

In this role, you will:

• Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management.
• Maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
• Standardize concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure inventory efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage periodic inventory schedule to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A high school diploma/GED.
• 8 years’ experience in any combination of inventory planning or control.
• Experience and ability in inventory and shelf-life management, Quality Control, and Automated Data Processing (ADP).
• 3 years’ experience supervising at least 10 people doing similar or related type work on similar contracts, or on a project of comparable scope and magnitude.
• Ability to complete a government approved shelf-life management training course.  
• Experience with database management systems, such as DMLSS.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Additional desired experience & skills:  

• A bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years' of experience in logistics planning.

Preferred:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for the Military Installation at the Cheatham Annex Naval Base where this position resides on a military installation or within a government facility which requires US Citzenship.
