If you love important, meaningful, and challenging projects that require critical thinking–Serco has a great opportunity for you supporting the United States Navy! We are seeking a Navy Program Analyst (LCAC) to join the team in Alexandria, VA.  

 

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

 

Serco supports the Navy as the prime professional support services contractor for the Amphibious Assault and Connectors Program. This position supports the Landing Craft Division in the life-cycle sustainment and modernization of the Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC).

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide program support to the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Acquisition Program Manager (APM) and LCAC Transition & Execution Manager for the LCAC and LCAC Extended Service Life Extension Program (E-SLEP) programs.
  • Perform as the Lead LCAC Craft Change Document (CCD) Coordinator, including managing, facilitating, and troubleshooting the CCD workflow in the Integrated Data Environment (IDE).
  • Assist the Assistant Program Manager (APM) and LCAC Platform Support Lead on conducting various analyses on the LCAC modernization program and as required.
  • Perform as the E-SLEP Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Coordinator for E-SLEP, including tracking, managing, and troubleshooting CDRLs in IDE.
  • Provide support for the LCAC Extended Service Life Extension Program (E-SLEP) including the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of contractor performance.
  • Coordinate with On-Site Representatives (OSRs) on craft availability status and report the status to the Program office in weekly metrics and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the technical community and develop PowerPoint presentations and white papers for the government and the fleet on issues impacting the LCAC program.
  • Facilitate key meetings with the government, including Quarterly Program Meetings (QPM), Technical Support Working Groups (TSWG), forming and distributing the agenda, taking and tracking action items, coordinating with stakeholders, and other tasks as directed by the APM.
  • Provide timely, high quality, and efficient responses for all urgent LCAC tasking.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, as well as customer and organizational level communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with the DoD. In lieu of a degree, Serco will consider a candidate with 9 more years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.
  • Strong command and recent use of Microsoft Office suite programs especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
  • The ability to work both in a team environment and independently, and often under short-notice deadlines is required.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, as well as customer and organizational level communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential to being successful in this role.
  • 10% travel is required.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Knowledge of DoD Programs, specifically Navy programs is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of DoD and USN Policies and Procedures pertaining to programmatic and financial management is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting the DoD as a program analyst will shorten the learning curve and is strongly desired.
