Senior Cost Analyst -DoD

Position Description

Serco is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join the team! 

The Senior Cost Analyst will be a provide cost estimating and analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams as part of the Serco-WBB Consulting groups’s highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants. The Senior Cost Analyst will be expected to support a wide variety of analytical projects including working for and with a variety of DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. The Analyst will interface with customers on a regular basis to develop project requirements, collaborate and work on integrated teams, and to brief, defend, and support project results. Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Telework is an option!

The Senior Cost Analyst will develop cost estimates and models to support a wide range of end products to include, but not limited to:

• Product Support Business Case Analysis (PSBCA)
• Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
• Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
• Life Cycle Cost Estimates
• Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
• Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
• Acquisition Milestone Support
• Develop, present and defend cost estimates through various cost agencies (i.e. Air Force Cost Analysis Agency), in addition to project customers
• Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers
• Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among a variety of government and industry organizations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst
• Ten (10) years of experience conducting cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis
• Knowledge/Experience using various cost estimating software tools (i.e. ACEIT and Crystal Ball)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleague
• 10% travel required.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability obtain one
• Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research or related discipline
• Army PBBE Experience
• Business – Life Cycle Logistics, Acquisition Professional Development Program, Level 2
• Certified Defense Financial Manager
• Army Program Manager Level II
