The Senior Operations Analyst will be part of a dynamic team serving at the headquarters, Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC). This position will be seat in Hawaii (Camp Smith).

 

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Serco currently supports the Marine Corps through the MARFORPAC IDIQ contract vehicle. Currently, we provide onsite support to the MARFORPAC G-3, the I Marine Expeditionary Force G-1, and the 1st Marine Division G-3.

 

The Sr. Marine Corps Operations Analyst supports the assessment of planning, coordination, integration, facilitation, and synchronizing of 167 plus Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) activities, processes, systems, concepts, and products in support of Operational Plans (OPLAN), Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), Theater Security Cooperation engagements, OAIs, and scenario specific events.

 

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $129,622.00 - $216,035.91; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

 

In this role you will:

  • Update Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE) database system with authoritative and provide technical support in the administration and management of assessment related systems (C2IE, SharePoint, and Share Drive).
  • Build and maintain All Domain Integrated Planning Team (ADIPT) products that assess and synchronize the intended effects across Marine Corps Forces Pacific Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs).
  • Build and maintain briefing products supporting the execution multiple monthly Campaign Synchronization Board (CSB) and Campaign Decision Board (CDB) meetings.
  • Serve as the G-35 Future Operations representative at Line of Operation (LOO) Director and the Lines of Effort Managers working group meetings, Theater Joint Force Maritime Component (T-JFMCC) supported command assessments, and TJFMCC Hard Goals Assessments.
  • Serve as the primary G-35 Future Operations representative for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command J02 Assessments of USINDOPACOM’s Calendar Year 22-24 Campaign Order and all replacement orders, specified execution orders, plan orders, and like directives; representative enabling U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) led Taiwan Engagement Plan (TEP) assessments.
  • Support Operational Planning Teams and other work groups as required and serve as G-35 primary representative for crisis and conflict operational or joint planning teams.
  • Coordinate, synchronize, and build annual assessments (September – October annually) of Marine Corps Forces Pacific Campaign Order Fiscal Year 2023-2025, all replacement orders, associated execution orders, modifications, and fragmentary orders.
  • Support Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Annual Joint Assessment and Annual Risk Assessments
  • Support Commandant of the Marine Corps and Chief of Naval Operations assessments including but not limited to Commander’s Estimates on Required Naval Integration.
  • Produce accurate meeting minutes relevant to MARFORPAC plans and operations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An interim TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree. 
  • 10 years of experience in operational analytical experience.
  • Knowledge of the Advanced proficiency of the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE) database system.
  • Understanding of political military situation in the Indo-Pacific region.
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (e.g., SHAREPOINT, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MSWord, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of USINDOPACOM organization, command relationships, assigned commands, and direct reporting units.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Travel may be required up to 10%.
