What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech position at Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights?
Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Med Techs for 2nd and 3rd Shift for our community! Serene Gardens is a beautiful senior living community that is looking for dedicated individuals that enjoy working with seniors, assisting in areas such as mealtime, bathing, preparing for the day and evening, self-care and socialization.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Completing AM and PM care of residents
- Escorting residents to and from meals, activities, appointments, etc.
- Assisting with showers and bathing.
- Providing appropriate safety checks
- Encouraging socialization of residents and hosting activities
- Assist in and around dining room as needed
- Assist with laundry as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Med Tech experience/training.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well unsupervised
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to socially interact and perform under pressure
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and have positive interactions with residents and families
